Tour The Hills – Routes

There are four cycling routes available to choose from: 20km, 50km, 75km and 100km.

The ride will start and finish at the Trafalgar Sports Park in Georgetown. Aid stations will be set up along the routes to provide refreshments and healthy snacks along with first aid and roving bicycle repair services. Safety of the participants is paramount, so we will provide route marshals, ‘sweep’ vehicles and first aid services along the route to ensure participants safety.  After the ride, participants are invited to stay at the park and enjoy a BBQ lunch and entertainment. We want this to be a memorable and pleasant experience for everyone.

Please note: Minimum rider age is 14 years. No children in carriers or trailers please.

Registration Options & Pricing

The first 50 registrants will receive a complimentary ‘Tour the Hills’ gift provided on the day of the event. 

Each rider is required to pay the registration fee in order to participate. Riders will have the option to pay the minimum donation fee of $100 as part of their registration OR opt to raise the $100 separately. We encourage all riders to raise as much money as they can to help support Cancer Assistance Halton Hills.

Minimum donations can be easily raised by setting up a Personal Fundraising Page after you register, which allows your family and friends to donate to your ride, on line. An email with the link to set this page up will be sent to you with your registration confirmation.

REMINDER: Following registration (initial payment) there is a $100 minimum on-line fundraising commitment required by end of day September 18, 2026.

NOTE: All departures from the Trafalgar Sports Park will be in the morning. Exact departure times for the different routes will be posted. Registrants will be notified by email once the times have been determined.

Fundraising Incentives

Registered participants have the option of increasing their fundraising beyond the minimum required and setting personal fundraising goals. As a way of motivating and encouraging this, we have set up a rewards/recognition program.

Raffle Tickets

As a way of motivating and encouraging additional fundraising and to give every participant a chance to win some great prizes, we have changed our incentive plan. We will reward the participant with ‘raffle tickets’ to use at the event for great prizes (raffle tickets will be given to the participants at time of ‘check in’ on the day of the event).

  • For every $100 raised (including the min $100 requirement) – receive 2 raffle tickets.
  • Once you have reached $1000 in funds raised – receive a bonus 10 tickets and an additional 10 bonus tickets for every $1000 raised thereafter

Raise a minimum of $400 and receive a Tour the Hills cycling vest!
